Job Description:Manager - Finance, Allianz - Trivandrum Duties and Responsibilities: Take full operational management responsibilities for teams within span of control. Demonstrate hands-on understanding, support and delivery of processing, including enhanced customer experience by ensuring high customer satisfaction Work closely with the onshore team in delivery the divisional corporate objectives Ensure that consistent and high standard of leadership and support is delivered at all levels Responsible for overseeing that the Credit Management, Transactional Accounting and Reporting processes are delivering to the agreed SLAs and quality targets Early intervention in areas of non-performance with full and accurate exception reporting Ensure early involvement of relevant process owners & line manager for relationship in any issues which require or may result in UK intervention Driving continual improvement within the said vertical - Identify areas of process improvements or synergies and propose solutions which lead to increased efficiency/revenue and/or reduced cost Adhering the compliance/ quality/ other regulation standards Take full operational management responsibilities for teams within span of control. Demonstrate hands-on understanding, support and delivery of processing, including enhanced customer experience by ensuring high customer satisfaction Work closely with the onshore team in delivery the divisional corporate objectives Ensure that consistent and high standard of leadership and support is delivered at all levels Responsible for overseeing that the Credit Management, Transactional Accounting and Reporting processes are delivering to the agreed SLAs and quality targets Early intervention in areas of non-performance with full and accurate exception reporting Ensure early involvement of relevant process owners & line manager for relationship in any issues which require or may result in UK intervention Driving continual improvement within the said vertical - Identify areas of process improvements or synergies and propose solutions which lead to increased efficiency/revenue and/or reduced cost Adhering the compliance/ quality/ other regulation standards Deliver change in a supported and controlled manner Where required, deal with any customer escalation and deal with them in a professional and courteous manner Ensure that team results and behaviours are consistently monitored and that issues are dealt with in a fair and open manner as they arise Responsible for ensuring PTRs are in line with Corporate Plan objectives for Finance & the team SLA/ KPIs Effective inter departmental & peer level relationship within the management team at Onshore - Proactive recruitment in agreement with Onshore - Proactive communication on operational highs & lows (issues & or challenges) - Should manage relationships with onshore point of contacts and multiple stake holders - Structured relationship management with the Onshore Weekly & Monthly Prepare and provide relevant MIS as required and represent the Management at appropriate forums Review of risk assessment and treatment plan. Technical Responsibilities Promote and ensure adequate controls over the process through : Development and review of control systems and procedures Reviewing KPI reports Monitoring that key controls are carried out and all necessary controls are in place to minimise errors and risk Production of management and financial information To give advice and liaise on all matters of account procedures relating to process requirements. Involvement in various corporate working groups Operations Skill Requirements Self-Starter with Initiative, Drive, Resilience, Business Leadership, Planning, Organising, Negotiation skills and Customer Service Orientation Should be of TL level management with - Experience of coaching and/ or training colleagues in a process / skill - Good Logical reasoning, Analytical skills and Decision Making ability Needs to be goal oriented & to deliver under pressure Excellent people management, coaching and leadership skills are essential Excellent people management, coaching Strong team player with a positive attitude and outlook Good organisational, time/activity planning Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable and experienced in using MS Office package (e.g. Excel / Word / Power point) and Finance related systems/software.
